Overview

TalkSick ("we", "our", or "us") is a mobile app that teaches real-world slang, pick-up lines, and local phrases across 12+ languages. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it.

By using TalkSick, you agree to the practices described here. If you don't agree, please stop using the app and delete your account.

What We Collect

• Account info — your name and email address when you sign up, stored securely via Supabase
• Purchase history — your subscription status and transaction records, processed by RevenueCat and your app store (Google Play or Apple App Store)
• Usage data — which features you use, content you view, and session activity — used to improve the app
• Device info — device type, OS version, and app version for support and debugging

How We Use It

• To create and manage your account
• To verify your subscription and unlock content
• To improve the app based on how people use it
• To send account and service-related notifications (no spam)
• To respond to support requests

Third-Party Services

We use the following services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Supabase — authentication and database. Your credentials are stored securely. supabase.com/privacy
• RevenueCat — subscription management and purchase verification. revenuecat.com/privacy
• Google Play / Apple App Store — payment processing. We never store your card details.

Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we'll remove your personal data within 30 days — except where required by law or to resolve disputes.

Your Rights

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate information
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Receive your data in a portable format

Age Requirement

TalkSick is intended for users 18 and older. The app contains mature language including slang, profanity, and adult humor. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we discover a minor has signed up, we will delete their account immediately.

Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and secure authentication through Supabase. No transmission over the internet is 100% guaranteed, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

Policy Changes

We may update this policy occasionally. We'll notify you of significant changes via the app or email. The "Last updated" date above always reflects the latest version.
